Bells Will Ring

Somebody very important to me is getting married. She and I are thrilled to bits with all the festivities and grand plans that a wedding brings along with it. Choosing the right dress, the decorations, making the guest list, picking the right food and wine, finalizing the venue... There is so much excitement in the air. I went ring shopping with the boy last year and they make the sweetest couple ever.

Yesterday she sent me a short email with a little secret and lots of sentiments. It is undoubtedly the loveliest thing that has come my way in years.

This November I'm going to see the world's most beautiful bride walk down the aisle to marry her perfect man.

Candy Floss, you truly deserve all the happiness the universe has to offer.

Some days...

...just go by. The same mundane routine, the same road you walk on, the same pair of jeans... And on such a day when you least expect it, you get smashed by an A-ha moment. Right there... hitting your head, heart and soul. You rise from the dead. And you begin to feel.

This is significant because it makes me feel content. Let go off the bumpy past. Let the future be. Just that one moment was the closest to your idea of perfection. And now you roll in it, look at it from every angle, play with it and then allow it to calm you down. Its beauty lies in its unpredictable nature. And how it makes you believe once again.

Gonna enjoy this for all that it is worth. Every bit of it.... While this plays in the background.

Some days must be lived all over again :)

What can you say about a twenty-five-year old girl who died?

That she was beautiful. And brilliant. That she loved Mozart and Bach. And the Beatles. And me.

I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

Open your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart
And you'll find love, love, love

From You To Me....

Tu Soche Yeh Zindagi Yeh Na Badlegi Kabhi
Main Sochoon Sab Badalta Hai, Tu Na Badlegi Kabhi
Main Socho Tu Hi Tu, Mera Koi Aur Nahin
Tu Soche Main Hoon Tera, Bas Tera Koi Aur Nahin
Koi Aur Ho Ya Na Ho, Tu Hai, Main Hoon... Bas...

I love cold weather. Nip in the air, I almost start chattering and try to keep myself warm while my nose is about to freeze.

I love music that has a lot of guitar work and a piano involved. But I'm more of a lyric-y person than a melody person.

I love how my lotion smells. Chocolate-y and creamy.

I love the food I cook, the goodies I bake.

I love my pink blanket and how it keeps me company through the night.

I love my bay window and how beautiful the world looks from that space. Like nothing seems wrong with it.

I love the way I snap in and out of "reality".

I love the molecules of magic that my city is home to. I love being typically Bangalorean.

I love how movies and books trigger off emotions in me.

I love the legs :P... and the hands

I love beer. I love that my folks know that I love beer.

I love the school I went to.

I love things british-y

I love putting "y"s at the end of words to make up adjectives.

I love black and white photographs, yellow musty pages of dog eared books, postcards, beads, bookmarks and tic-tocks.

I love Andy for the peace he brings me.

I love DB's nose.

I love all that has once been a part of my life.
